Abstract painter David Craven has a show opening this weekend at the Leo Kamen Gallery in Toronto. David is a friend of the family and I spent many hours as a youngster lying on the floor at his place drawing on huge pieces of paper he provided.

His work is always interesting and continues to evolve. Parts of the paintings are created by dribbling paint from above and the surfaces aren’t flat – they really have to be seen in person to get the full effect.

The opening is this Saturday, October 17th at 80 Spadina Ave., Suite 406 and David will be there from 2-5pm. The show runs until November 14th.

David Craven is a shit painter. You should know better than to lend your valuable credentials to this mediocre artist .You probably learned more on his floor than he did in 3 years at O.C.A. David
